the first post
Okay
The first Blog post ! Hmm I was thinking what I could write about and thought a good place to start would be my own opinions on the gaming industry as a whole.

Before I start I would like to say how each games company has done extraordinarily well considering the economic down turn and all that balls crap. Also the increased competition this gen brought on by the Wii and the great things Sony and Microsoft are trying to do with there systems. Although in my opinion the Wii has held back the progression of graphic technology it has encouraged a lot more people to look at games differently and not just something for kids. However having said that in my opinion I think Nintendo really needs to start looking at newer ways to use the Wii motion controller because for me they are getting a bit old. This is even more important now that Microsoft and Sony are joining the motion controller revolution with Natal and the Arc or whatever its called. I’m not the biggest fan of the motion controller mainly because I think it stops developers using the full potential of the system and they think they can just get away with doing the same old game over and over again as long as it looks different. For example on the Wii you have loads of games that use the same motion controller movements just for different sports. I dunno about you but I would just prefer to go and play the sport for real. What I’m trying to say is when I play games I want to escape the real world and do different things that I cant do in real life.
I’m not saying the Wii is a bad thing. Nintendo has done wonders making the gaming industry such a powerful industry. I just want the developers to stop making games so safely I want them, to experiment and do different things. Hopefully the Arc and Natal will do something different and not just all the same things the Wii has done with nicer graphics.
Okay I think that’s enough of my crazy thoughts I’m going to go play some games and eat some food .
Oh and I don’t dislike the Wii in anyway I just want some more exciting games.
